Some Thoughts On One Of Frank Kern’s Pre Launch Videos
Frank always builds the Frank brand.
The ultimate goal for all Internet Marketers, and he even says it out loud, is Money and Freedom.
He is showing us exactly that.
1. He’s driving a Porshe that is a very expensive car and yet even though it’s a huge expenditure he has hardly used it
2. He is going to the beach, enuf said.
3. He tells of tearing his jeans – only has 2 pair. This from a guy who
drives a Porsche. He has the freedom to dress as he wants and also buy
what he want, when he wants. He doesn’t have to buy in bulk.
4. He tells a story of tearing the jeans and his arse is hanging out
and people are laughing- and he doesn’t care. Enormous self confidence
i.e. true freedom
5. He takes us back to his “secret lair” – Hmm could secret be a conversational frame
6. We run in to the game player – He can afford to have a friend/worker
over playing games. He can afford to have an arcade game in his placed
of work.
7. He takes us to his conference room: Wall has drawings by his young
daughters – Frank the family man is going to use the same technology as
used by his young girls. Hey guys we’re not talking rocket science
here anyone can do it.
8. He draws stick figures and makes fun of his simple mindedness – Hey see 7.
9. Uses different colors. I saw the video a couple of hours ago and can’t
remember what color was used for what but I would not put it past him
to color code certain words. By the way some studies claim red blue
and green have enormous impact on persuasion.
10. He waves all around saying hey somewhere there’s a place to sign.
Obviously he made and edited this video and he knows for sure which
side of the screen to point to. But how much more in the Frank persona
to just wave as though it’s all just happening and not thought out. In
other words trust me anyone can do it.
11. The content of the presentation – a real giveaway of real value
but not yet the whole story. Come on down and I’ll let you see the
next step and, and, and please Frank can I buy your product
And by the way I would except I can’t afford them. But he is on my Why I
want to make money list so that I can afford to go to one of his seminars.
He is the master of entertaining education
Whose drum beat are you marching to?
Organized marching, singalongs, college sweatshirts and what happens when you tell someone they’re out of step.

From a marketing point of view we might want to consider using interactive polls that bring people towards a common goal.
Sometimes 100 Cents Feels Like It’s Worth More Than A Dollar
ScienceDaily (Feb. 2, 2009) — We all know
that $1 is equal to 100 cents. But a new study suggests that, in some
situations, people may behave as if 100 cents actually has more value.

This entry is a classic about trying to do anything. Ostensibly it’s about picking up girls but if you step back it applies to do anything, to overcoming that initial fear and learning to just do it.
I got to the article because I went to Digg to see what was going on and it was about halfway down the landing page with 450 hits, more than most. But the truth is it’s the headline that’s compelling, it addresses the needs and fantasies of most men.
I’m reminded of something that Anthony Robbins wrote where he said that in order to anchor a certain behavior you should tie it to a strong emotion in particular the sex urge. This articles headline captures that dynamic.
The other thing is to notice the ShareThis comment above. The blog has uses it and made it easy for me to use the article.
